Subject: pronunciation: jewelry

I've always pronounced it as "jewl-er-ee," and occasionally wondered

why it's pronounced that way, but I've never heard any other pronunciation.

How do the rest of you pronounce "jewelry"?

JEWL-ry (two syllables), every time. But then I'm from Shuh-KAW-go, so

what can you expect?
