Eric, be sure to check SCI.LANG. They frequently discuss dialects and

pronounciations. At one point, someone posted a "WAVE," which evidently

enabled some of the participants to actually hear a pronounciation of another

participant. I don't remember who it was, but ask Rich Wales

(richw[AT SYMBOL GOES HERE]opentext.com) or Paul J. Kriha (kriha_p[AT SYMBOL GOES HERE]actrix.gen.nz) and they may be

able to help you.
