I had always heard the question in reference to Louisville, KY. Are

The correct pronunciation of the capital of Kansas is Tuhpeekuh (Topeka),

where I spent some of my formative years and visited the capitol. My

father went to college in Suhlainuh, to Kansas Wesleyan.
