What I meant was, that pignuts sounded/appeared/seemed upon hearing it

from my father to be a likely regionalism, especially given that I had never

heard/seen/come across it before and that my dad and I grew up in different

parts of the USA and therefore use different regional items. Does this

make sense? Nevertheless, I should have checked it out myself before

posting the list about it--again, my apologies.
