Subject: Re: out-of-pocket



For those of you who know "out of pocket" to mean 'unavailable, out of the

usual place' (as in "I'll be out of pocket for a week, but you can leave a

message on my machine"), are you also familiar with the analogical "in

pocket"? We have only one example: "We called to tell her that we are

going to be in Texas over the Christmas break and want to come by to visit.

Her reply was, "Sure, y'all come on by. We'll be in pocket then."
