Those of you who're fortunate enough to have access to the wonderful video "American Tongues" might recall the Brooklyn native who represented a drug company and had trouble getting clients in the Midwest to focus on WHAT she said. Evidence in the video indicated that she'd had dialect training, but nary a whit of the training came through in her speech on the video. DMLance
