Subject: M. A. Programs in English



Some of you may be getting sick of my administrative questions, but for

those of you who are kind enough to respond privately I say thanks for

hazarding an answer to the following somewhat absurd but nonetheless

important question for someone proposing a new M. A. in English in our

state system:



What are the three most outstanding programs in this country leading to an

M. A. in English?



There may be regional implications in the answers, I don't know.
