There is/was a Basque restaurant in Gustine that served a minimum of
10 or so (7 big, big eaters, 10 big eaters, 15 to 25...) that served
a meat dish along the lines of a full ham, a full-sized turkey, etc.
You bought the entire meal to go with it, but it was essentially a
restaurant with a fixed price for the entire meal. There may have been
an additional plate charge for dainty eaters. I can't recall.
Oh, Gustine is in California west of Merced. Dan Moonhawk's posting
came across the screen as I was thinking of this.
By entire meal, I mean per party, not per person.
