<br>One aspect of the Irish Peace agreement reached at Easter, summarised in
<br>the Irish Times, underlines the importance of matters of language.
<br>

<br>governments and the political parties in Northern Ireland
<br>aims to end almost 30 years of bitter civil and sectarian
<br>conflict and lay the foundations of peaceful coexistence

<br>The importance of respect for and tolerance of the Irish
<br>language, Ulster-Scots "and the languages of the various
